Advanced Sport Instruments delivers paradigm shift in wearable performance tracking IoT

Maison du Sport International, Lausanne, Switzerland – February 18th, 2021: Advanced Sport Instruments SA (ASI), a leading Swiss-based developer of performance tracking solutions, today announced the launch of AdMosLive, a unique solution designed to automate the collection of performance tracking data and save coaching team’s valuable time.

AdMosLive reimagines the data collection and distribution workflow. The data collected by AdMosLive are sent directly from the athlete to the cloud via 4G (and soon 5G) networks making real time data collection possible and opening up new performance and fan engagement use cases. The data are distributed to third party platforms via API, removing the need for antennas, software interfaces, post-session data synchronisation and manual uploads. The result is a completely frictionless experience for the user.

Commenting on the announcement, Julien Moix, Chief Operating Officer at ASI said, “we have witnessed the struggles faced by coaching teams around the world to manage the collection of data and the constant trade-offs and frustrations that arise as a result of these. AdMosLive will save significant time for coaching staff by delivering the seamless collection and enrichment of performance data and empower them to focus on managing athlete performance, rather than managing data.”

ASI have also taken the bold step not to offer a standard user interface. Instead, an open API links the enriched data with a growing ecosystem of specialist third party platforms across all sports. Platform partners benefit from the automated transmission of data as well as ASI’s laser focus on delivering the most complete and accurate athlete performance data available in the market. Several platform partners have already integrated AdMosLive including Deepsports.io, PLF Team Sports and TrainMyAthlete, with many more set to follow.

Explaining the approach taken by ASI, Lionel Yersin, Founder and Chief Technology Officer said, “we designed an open API allowing any third-party platform to consume raw or calculated data in real time or post-session. Data can be accessed simultaneously by several solutions which creates opportunities to explore new use cases in the fields of performance and fan engagement”.
